Direction column

Expected 0–360 degrees.

Value column

Numeric (e.g., wind speed).

Date/time column

Used for date range + day/night + hour splits.

Unit name

Appended to legend bins.

Sector width (degrees)

Controls directional resolution of the wind rose.

Value bins

Comma-separated lower edges (in original units).

Value transform

Log10 uses log-binning; bins are still entered in original units. Values ≤ 0 are ignored.

Calm threshold

Values < threshold counted as “calm” (excluded from rose).

Color rampReverse ramp

Applies to the bin traces (legend colors).

Months

Filter by month using the date/time column.

Date start

Optional.

Date end

Optional.

Mode

Requires time-of-day for day/night or hour bands.

Day hours

Day start hour

Day end hour

Used for Day vs Night (local time).

Hour bands

Format: 0-6,6-12,... Used when Mode = Hour bands.

Export chart
